TRANSPORT FLEET ARRIVES AT THE BLAKE MUSEUM!

A recent addition to the collections at the Blake Museum is a fleet of 1/50th scale replica models of commercial vehicles.

The vehicles represent the various businesses seen around Bridgwater area during the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s.

Do you remember Francombe’s Dairy, Bryant & Son, Star Taxis and Quantock Preserving Co. to mention just a few, the models are sure to invoke many memories.

The models have been carefully restored and donated to the museum by Mr Cecil Luscombe.

The museum re-opens for the summer on Tuesday April 3rd and features updated and new displays.

Admission is free.
