Welcome to the spring edition of the Somerset Prepared newsletter and the exciting launch of our new website www.SomersetPrepared.org.uk.
Since the December edition we’ve been working hard to develop a suite of resources to help develop your local emergency arrangements, all of which you can now find on our website. We’re still developing more so check back regularly or follow us on twitter @somersetprepare.
We’re not the only ones that have been busy so a big thank you to all those getting in touch to talk about your local community emergency plans. Some are well practiced arrangements and some are brand new – it’s great to hear from you all and illustrates there’s always room for review and improvement. If you’d like to submit a case study of the work in your area we’d be pleased to feature it on our website alongside previous success stories from across Somerset.
If you would like some further advice for your area and haven’t already – please do get in touch and a member of the team will be glad to help.
In the meantime we hope you enjoy the rest of the newsletter and find the resources we’ve put together useful.
