Bridgwater Castle Market joins in with the continued promotion of the Bridgwater Town Guide APP in a novel way. Shoppers have been able to scan the QR barcode from a cake made by popular stallholder, Ali Rees from “Nice Buns”.  The new free smart phone application allows locals and visitors to the town to find shopping information, history guides and every day essential services.  A spokesperson from the market says “Especially, in the light of recent events, support your town, download the app, take advantage of the special offers and see the range of shops and services that are available.  There is more here than you might think!”

Through the Town Guide App, Retailers and other businesses can also offer customers special offers and detailed information of the products and services on offer, boosting business and encouraging trade.  The Town Guide also contains detailed information and guides on the many unique historical features of the town, interactive searchable maps and A to Z guides all instantly available on a smart phone.   You can install “Bridgwater Town Guide” directly from the Apple App Store or the Android Market, or scan a barcode at Car Parks and other locations in the Town.  The App will be released on Blackberry and other popular phones in due course.
